Starter Canopian
Every single player in the Canopy is welcome to one freebie character!
Please view our species guides by clicking on The Species above, familiarize yourself with traits, and submit a design at the link below. This can be as polished or simple as you like, in any style you like, but should be at least colored in appropriately for approval purposes. We also have a template you can use here!
Starter Canopians can be any of the following classes: farmer, trader, craftsman, hunter, entertainer, or nomad. Learn more about classes here. Canopians can change classes later by purchasing the appropriate upgrade in the item shop.
Starter Canopians can have up to two uncommon traits. Additional uncommon or rare traits must be earned through future play. Starter Canopians are also welcome to have one or two of the free pets shown here, meaning a gecko, songbird, or silksquirrel (this does not include statta)! They are also welcome to have one or two small, simple accessories--these must be arboreal in origin (feathers, insects, fibers, and wood; no stones or clay) and be in simple, natural colors. These can include simple hand/foot/tail wraps and wooden piercings.
If your Canopian is approved, that’s it! Copy the link to the mod reply, and go set up your log (see here) and you’re ready to play! If not, we’ll let you know what needs to be changed. You don’t have to change the artwork unless you want to or the character requires very significant changes, but if edits are needed please describe them in the deviation description and try to adhere to them in future art.
